On completion of this course, delegates will be able to state the regulations covering the use of work equipment, have a good understanding of the hazards arising from the use of work equipment, precautions to be taken, workplace checks, end-user safety checks, personal checks, machine checks and how the machines are guarded.

Recommended to employees who carry out site maintenance. Employees who use portable power tools e.g. Site Managers, Caretakers, Handy Persons, Maintenance Staff etc.
Course Assessment: Candidates are required to successfully complete a written test paper.

There is no provision for parking at St.Mary's House. On street parking in the area is limited, but the railway station car park is very close - 5 minutes walk - at about £5 per day.
Refreshments of tea and coffee will be provided. There is no canteen at St.Mary's House, though a sandwich lady calls at about 10.45am
