Course description

This learning will be delivered remotely via MS Teams.

It is scheduled to take place over 2 days, with 3 separate sessions on each day, allowing ample time for coffee/comfort breaks. See Additional Information below for more details.

Getting the job done through effective team management, new managers are often responsible for the first time for the management of other people. This new role therefore needs new skills and knowledge. This course is designed to give this basic understanding and some of the required skills so that new managers can thrive from the start.

IMPORTANT: There are six sessions included in this event, and if attending you will need to participate in all six events which are spread over two days.

There will be pre-course work which will be sent to confirmed delegates about a week before the event.

New ESCC managers should also attend the Induction for ESCC Managers course.

The ESCC Managers HR Brief Bites are currently under review and will be available shortly on the ESCC Learning Portal.

this course will have an emphasis in making exercises and learning points relevant to the workplace. This course will also require delegates to draw up action plans and implement them, with the support of their manager.
