Creative Thinking & Continuous Improvement programme has been developed to give managers and staff the tools, techniques and practice the skills in order to be more efficient, think of new ideas, and take the initiative and responsibility for improvement ideas, using Kaizen and creative thinking techniques.
The programme has been split into two half day modules – Creative Thinking – 3 hours, and Continuous Improvement – 3 hours, delivered on a virtual platform.

You work with tables of data which you need to summarise and analyse.
This online course has example worksheets you can practice with after the session.
There is also a 3 hour, classroom-based version of this course, which has more opportunity to practice techniques during the training.
Pre-requisites
The course assumes that delegates are familiar with:
• entering and editing a table of data in Excel.
• sorting and filtering a data table in Excel
To take part in this course, delegates will need an internet-connected device with camera and microphone, and an internet connection which can stream video in reasonable quality.

LAS Search and View is a half day of remote hands on training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Adult Social Care LiquidLogic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate LiquidLogic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned/uploaded images held within ECaseFile
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LAS whether to view client data or input data into the system
As a new staff member your manager must request that a LiquidLogic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.
You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.
Training sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams, please reserve the time in your diary.
You should assure yourself of the suitability of the learning environment from which you will access the online course. In order to focus on the learning content, you will need to access the session from a quiet location where you will not be disturbed. LAS Safeguarding Recording is hands on LiquidLogic training for East Sussex County Council staff. During the course you will record an Adults Social Care Safeguarding from beginning to end within LiquidLogic. . It will also give you an overview of recording Organisational Safeguarding.
This course is for anyone who will be required to record any part of a safeguarding case.
