Getting the job done through effective team management, new managers are often responsible for the first time for the management of other people. This new role therefore needs new skills and knowledge. This course is designed to give this basic understanding and some of the required skills so that new managers can thrive from the start.

IMPORTANT: There are six sessions included in this event, and if attending you will need to participate in all six events which are spread over two days.
There will be pre-course work which will be sent to confirmed delegates about a week before the event.
New ESCC managers should also attend the Induction for ESCC Managers course.

LAS Search and View is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Adults Liquid Logic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LAS whether to view client data or input data into the system
As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.
You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.

This course is for managers who now have to manage and motivate staff who are working from home.
The course is highly interactive and aims to give you the tools and tips to ensure your staff know what is expected of them, have clear objectives and the trust that they can fulfil their role whilst working from home.
