The world is in a time of massive upheaval; with so much outside of our control, stress appears to have grown exponentially. Constant adaptation and uncertainty is challenging our sense of self and ability to cope.
This concise one day course will provide time to reflect on the impact of recent events and gain insight into how to respond, recover and thrive beyond crises.
The trainer is an experienced psychotherapist, de-briefer and coach.
Due to the participatory nature of the course, the maximum number of participants is 10.
This workshop aims to give participants a better understanding of the effects of stress; physically, emotionally and behaviourally. It also looks at
your awareness of your own stress symptoms, identifying what aspects can be changed, and assists you in building on your personal coping strategies.

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is covered over 6 hours. It provides an excellent introduction to the basic principles of First Aid, and trains you to take control of a first aid situation in the workplace in the absence of a fully trained First Aider (see First Aid at Work).
The course tutor will assess you throughout the course, through multiple choice papers and observations. Upon completion, First Aid Awards will provide a certificate.
Your certificate will last for 3 years.
The Health and Safety Executive have extended all First Aid certificates that were due for expiry from 21st March 2020 to 30th September. We should point out that no further extensions are expected.
