This Interactive course will help to raise confidence and competence. You will gain an insight into your own training style and learn tips and techniques to develop and deliver a high impact and engaging training experience. You will gain experience of delivering micro-training sessions and receive feedback to help you develop your skills and confidence.
Due to the highly interactive nature of the workshop, you will be required to bring a short (5-10 minute) training session or part of a training session that you have pre-prepared. This should be relevant to your role as you will apply the learning from the course to refine and develop this session.
It does not take much to be convinced of the importance of planning. Research and anecdotal examples abound with teams that have thrived or failed due to adequate or inadequate planning. We are all well aware that when it comes to planning skills, we can either create our own destiny or be at the mercy of the moment. The key is to create the plan that will allow our team to become what it needs to be.
We will look at how strategic planning differs from tactical planning. We will then examine the elements of strategic planning, develop a strategic intent and identify the core competencies, that will allow us to thrive in challenging times.
