Coaching teams and groups take a wide set of skills and abilities. But with confidence and care, your core coaching competencies can help you support people who work together to explore their challenges and opportunities and develop their ability to work effectively together. In this session we will explore the difference between group and team coaching and consider some of the ways to work in either mode.

Have you learnt coaching skills through our Coaching Skills course (previously An Introduction to Coaching) or the Coaching for Managers course? Would you like to improve your skills and gain more practice and become a member of the ESCC Coaching Network?
If so the ILM Level 3 Award in Coaching could be for you. This course is designed to give you an in depth knowledge of coaching skills and of the tools you can use in your coaching practice. You will also be required to complete 6 hours of supervised coaching to practically apply the tools and skills. Completion of this course will qualify you to become a member of the workplace coaching pool and we will be able to refer potential "coachees" from across the organisation to you.
Typically it can take six to nine months to complete the course.
As part of this course you will be required to find a "coachee" to practice your skills with. Before starting please identify someone that you can either work with yourself, or that you can swap with another person in the group.
