Employees must develop an awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion to help them meet the needs of a diverse customer base and workforce, they need to be clear about best practice, and make their own commitment to this agenda within their roles.

This programme aims to provide a general and comprehensive training for staff across the Council that ensures a good understanding of their responsibilities for equality.

All delegates must have completed the Equality and Diversity e-learning session prior to attending this course.

Diversity, Inclusion & Equality are integral to all aspects of the design and delivery of all Mui Li Associates Sessions. It is vital that individuals and groups understand and comply with The Equality Act 2010 (amended 2020).
 
We can often be our worst saboteurs, not recognising that the language and behaviours we use can send out unhelpful messages about our confidence and sense of worth. At times of change and uncertainty, it is important we remain confident and send positive messages about our skills and knowledge and what we can offer to new or existing employers and customers.
